The Distribution Company was formed by Mike Demers and Matt Rodriguez in 1987, as a way of releasing recordings they've been making for the past 10 years. In 1978 along with Bill Windsheimer, they formed the Armadillos Plates, after the band broke up, Mike and Bill were in various bands, while Matt retired, In 1985 he came out of retirement to make solo records and made a film, "The Standard Evangelist Cut Show" which reunited Matt and Mike, which lead to the formation of the Distribution Company. Since then, the Distribution Company not only released recordings, but also films and comic books, and worked with outside bands. The plan for this web page is to bring you into the world of the Distribution Company. which will include everyone and everything involved with the Distribution Company. So even though this page is under construction we have links to a couple of the bands, but there is a lot missing which we are working on.
